Capital District Colon & Rectal Surgery Associates, P.C. is pleased to welcome you to our Practice. Our specially trained office staff and nurses are available during the following office hours to assist you:
Monday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Tuesday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Our practice provides 24 hour coverage, 7 days a week for emergency consultation and treatment. During regular office hours, our nursing staff will return calls by the end of the business day.
Preparing For Your Appointment
In order to provide appropriate medical care for you, it is important that we have current information. Please notify our receptionist of any changes in your home or work address and phone numbers.
Most procedures performed in the office and hospital require a bowel preparation.
Our staff will provide written instructions explaining the preparation and determine the date and time that best meets your needs. We have educational brochures in our office and are happy to provide outside referrals as needed.

It is necessary for us to maintain current insurance information, including valid referrals, if so dictated by your insurance company. Please remember that it is the patient's responsibility to obtain a referral from their primary care physician. Our office staff will be happy to assist you in this process if necessary. Co-payments are expected at the time of service. If your insurance company is one which we do not participate, we will, as a courtesy, bill them for your services. However, you are responsible for any balance after their payment.
