Samuel Feldman, M.D.
Dr. Feldman is a graduate of Temple
University, Philadelphia, PA, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in
Biology in 1967. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of
Bologna, in Bologna, Italy in 1973. Dr. Feldman completed his Internship at
Winthrop University Hospital and his Surgical Residency at SUNY Stony Brook
in 1979. Dr. Feldman went on to The Cleveland Clinic where he completed a
Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery in 1980. Dr. Feldman is a Fellow of
the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Society of
Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He is a member of The New York State Medical
Society, The Rupert Turnbull Surgical Society and The Society of American
Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
Dr. Feldman is Chief of Surgery at St. Peter’s Hospital, and is on staff at
Albany Memorial Hospital, Albany Medical Center, The Seton Health System,
and Samaritan Hospital. He also serves on the Board of St. Peter’s Endoscopy
and Surgery Center.

Gennaro A. Daniels, M.D.
Dr.
Daniels is a graduate of Albany Medical College where he earned a Master’s
of Science in 1980 and his Medical Degree in 1984. Dr. Daniels completed his
Surgical Internship at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and his Residency
at Albany Medical College in 1989. He completed his Colon & Rectal
Fellowship at The Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore Maryland in
1991. Dr. Daniels is a member of The Rensselaer County Medical Society, The
New York State Medical Society, The American Medical Association, and The
Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
He serves on the Board of Directors of Capital District Physician’s Health
Plan and also sits on the Utilization Review Committee of CDPHP.
Dr. Daniels is affiliated with St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany Memorial
Hospital, Albany Medical Center, The Seton Health System, Samaritan
Hospital, and St. Peter’s Endoscopy and Surgery Center.

Garner P. Johnson, M.D.
Dr.
Johnson received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from Brown
University in 1977. He earned his Medical Degree in 1982 from the University
of Minnesota at Minneapolis. Dr. Johnson attended the University of Chicago
and later completed his Surgical Residency at the University of
Massachusetts in 1987. He did a Research Fellowship at the Mayo Graduate
School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota and later completed a Colorectal
Fellowship in 1989 at The Mayo School of Medicine. Dr. Johnson received
additional Laporoscopic training at The University of Miami in Miami Florida
in 1996.
Dr. Johnson is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of The
American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, The American Medical
Association, The Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons
(SAGES) and The New York Colon and Rectal Society.
Dr. Johnson is affiliated with St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany Memorial

Brian
Steckel, M.D.
Dr.
Steckel is a graduate of Boston College where he earned a Bachelor of
Science in Biochemistry. He completed his medical degree with honors at
the National University of Ireland in Galway in 1994. Dr. Steckel completed
his Surgical Residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield,
Massachusetts, and a Research Fellowship at New England Medical Center in
Boston in 2002. He completed his Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship at
Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City in June 2003.
He is a member of the American College
of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He received The Golden Apple Teaching Award
at Baystate Medical Center in 1999 and the Excellence in Teaching Award in
1999 at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Nora Yip, M.D.
Dr. Nora Yip is originally
from Rochester, NY and is a graduate of Cornell University where she earned a BS in Biological Sciences in 1996. She received her
Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2000 and completed her general surgical residency at the University
of Connecticut in 2005. During her chief year, she won the Henry Mannix, Jr. MD Award for Academic Achievement. In June 2006, Dr.
Yip completed her fellowship in colon and rectal surgery through the Grant Medical Center/OhioHealth Colon and Rectal Surgical
Residency Program in Columbus, OH.
Dr. Yip has a special interest in performing procedures ranging from colonoscopy, stapled hemorrhoidectomy to laparoscopic intestinal surgery. She is a member of American College of Surgeons and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
