Brian Steckel, MD

Dr. Steckel is a graduate of Boston College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He completed his medical degree with honors at the National University of Ireland in Galway in 1994. Dr. Steckel completed his Surgical Residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, and a Research Fellowship at New England Medical Center in Boston in 2002. He completed his Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City in June 2003.

He is a member of the American College of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He received The Golden Apple Teaching Award at Baystate Medical Center in 1999 and the Excellence in Teaching Award in 1999 at Tufts University School of Medicine.
