As Board Certified Colon and Rectal Surgeons, we provide our patients with the highest quality care. In recent years many health plans have substantially reduced benefits. Many patients are now personally responsible for a larger portion of fees charged for medical services.
As a result of this change, we can no longer carry patient balances beyond the period noted below. Our practice requires all patient deductibles and co-insurance to be paid in full prior to surgery. Our insurance coordinator will contact your insurance company to verify your benefits and determine any deductibles or co-pays for which you are responsible. You will be advised of the amount that must be paid prior to surgery. If payment is not received, your elective surgery may be rescheduled.
Your payment options are:
1. Forward personal check or money order for the patient balance.
2. We will accept Visa or MasterCard payment.
3. If there is any balance remaining after your insurance benefits are received, you will receive a statement of the balance owed which must be paid in full within 30 days by personal check, money order or charge card. Patient balances not paid within the 30 day period will be subject to further collection action.
If you do not have medical insurance, payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
